About the Instructor 

Zen Jiu-Jitsu & Fitness is entering the ninth year of operation. Instructor  George Tala is an educator and a visionary with a focus on details. He loves to teach and see the transformation in each student. Instructor Tala has developed a system of teaching that has proven results. At Zen Jiu-Jitsu & Fitness we strive to create a safe, family friendly environment where students can learn and have fun. Students are encouraged to break out of their comfort zone to better themselve.  We encourge everyone to train at their own pace. BJJ Lineage: Does It Really Matter That Much? NO!

 

While there is merit in lineage, let’s take the sensible approach and only try and look at it when it is really important – in the case of fake Black belts. Fake black belt should be exposed and along with Mcdojos. Read more about fake black belts and McDojos in our Blog. Any ligitimate Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt instructor's linage comes from the SAME TREE Beginning!
