BJJ Lineage: Does It Really Matter That Much? NO!
While there is merit in lineage, let’s take the sensible approach and only try and look at it when it is really important – in the case of fake Black belts. Fake black belt should be exposed and along with Mcdojos. Read more about fake black belts and McDojos in our Blog. There are many McDojos popping up across the country contributing to the water down of the art. These schools do no represent the true essence of jiu-jitsu. They represent solely a cooperate model of money first, second and third. May schools promote by attendance, which is irresponsible. Any legitimate Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt instructor's linage comes from the SAME TREE Beginning! At Zen Jiu-Jitsu we teach the essence and the real life application of Jiu-Jitsu along side of tournament principles.
